Log-Dateien
Every time you use the Internet, your Internet browser automatically transmits certain information and stores it in so-called log files.
We store log files for the purpose of detecting disruptions and for security reasons (e.g., to investigate attempted attacks) for as long as necessary for their specified purposes. They are then deleted or anonymized. Log files whose continued retention is required for evidentiary purposes are exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally resolved and may be forwarded to investigative authorities in individual cases. The storage of log files serves our legitimate interest in the smooth and correct operation of our website.
The following information is stored in particular in the log files:
IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the device from which the online offer is accessed;
Internet address of the website from which the online offer was accessed (so-called origin or referrer URL);
Name of the service provider through which access to the online offer is made;
Name of the retrieved files or information;
Date and time as well as duration of retrieval;
amount of data transferred;
Operating system and information about the Internet browser used, including installed add-ons (e.g. for a password manager);
HTTP status code (e.g. “request successful” or “requested file not found”).
User analysis
The allink.ch website uses analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). The information collected about website usage is stored on the tool providers' servers.
With the help of these analytics tools, we are able to collect and analyze data about how visitors use our website. This allows us to determine when and from which region certain page views were made.
Other data that is collected would be, for example, file names of the files accessed, browsers used, functions used or the length of time spent on the website.
Allink has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and advertising. If prior consent was requested when visiting our website (e.g., consent to the storage of cookies), processing will be based on your consent, which you can revoke at any time in the future.
Detailed information about the analysis tools used can be found in our Cookie Policy
Sharing of data
As a general rule, we will only transmit your personal data to other responsible parties if this is necessary to fulfil the contract, if we or the third party have an overriding legitimate interest in the transfer or if you have given your consent.
In addition, data may be transmitted to other responsible parties if we are required to do so by law or by enforceable administrative or judicial order.
Service provider
We engage external service providers to perform tasks such as marketing services, development operations, data hosting, shipping, and debugging. We have carefully selected these service providers and regularly monitor them, particularly with regard to their careful handling and security of the data they store. We oblige all service providers to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal requirements.
Transfer to recipients outside the EEA
We may also transfer personal data to recipients located outside the EEA in so-called third countries. In this case, we will ensure, prior to the transfer, that the recipient either has an appropriate level of data protection in place through appropriate contractual agreements or, if necessary, that your consent to the transfer has been obtained.
Information on data storage: Storage location & retention periods
Your data is primarily stored in Switzerland and Germany. Due to various service providers, data is also stored in other EU countries and within the USA.
We generally store your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and the associated services, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in continued storage (e.g., we may still have a legitimate interest in postal marketing even after a contract has been fulfilled). After that, we delete your personal data, with the exception of data that we must continue to store to fulfill legal obligations (e.g., we are obligated to retain documents such as contracts and invoices for a certain period due to retention periods under tax and commercial law).
Marketing-Tools
We use various tools for marketing activities. When using these tools, your browser sometimes establishes a direct connection to the server of the respective tool. This informs the respective provider that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website. Log files similar to the log files described in section 5 are also transmitted to the servers of the respective providers and may be stored there. The provider or its server may be located outside Switzerland or the EU or EEA (e.g., in the USA).
The data exchange takes place via third-party cookies.
Further information on the purpose, scope, further processing and use of the data can be found in our Cookie Policy and in the respective General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Security
Our employees and the service providers we engage are obliged to maintain confidentiality and comply with the provisions of applicable data protection laws.
We take all necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure an appropriate level of security and to protect your data managed by us, in particular against the risks of accidental or unlawful destruction, manipulation, loss, alteration or unauthorized disclosure or access.
Your rights
To assert your rights, please use the information in the "Contact Details" section. Please ensure that we can clearly identify you.
Informations- und Auskunftsrecht
You have the right to receive information from us about the processing of your data. To this end, you can assert a right to information regarding the personal data we process about you.
The data will be made available to you within 20 working days of receipt of your request.
Right to rectification and erasure
You can request that we correct inaccurate data. If the legal requirements are met, you can request that your data be completed or deleted.
Please contact us in writing or by phone to request the deletion of your data. You can find the contact details under Contact on this page.
This does not apply to data that is required for billing and accounting purposes or is subject to statutory retention periods.
The deletion of the data will be completed within 20 working days of receipt of your request
Data portability
If the legal requirements are met, you can request that the data you have provided to us be transmitted to you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or – if technically feasible – that the data be transmitted to a third party.
Right to object
Right to object
Objection to direct marketing
You can also object to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time ("advertising objection"). Please note that for organizational reasons, there may be an overlap between your objection and the use of your data in the context of an ongoing campaign.
Objection to data processing based on “legitimate interest”
In addition, you have the right to object to our data processing at any time, provided that this is based on the legal basis of "legitimate interest." We will then stop processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for further processing that outweigh your rights, in accordance with legal requirements.
Revocation of consent
If you have given us your consent to process your data, you can revoke this consent at any time with future effect. The legality of the processing of your data up to the time of revocation remains unaffected.
